Seattle Public Schools Special Education Teacher
I have been an educator for many years . I’ve spent more than have of my life in education and in banking . I love teaching financial literacy. When I worked for banks, we had a program where we taught children financial literacy, and that led me to my passion of teaching. I received my Masters in Teaching in 2021 , I am currently going for my National Board Certification . I am passionate about enriching the lives of students through literacy and life skills. This organization is meaningful to me because I believe businesses need support to stay afloat . I believe we are here to break down barriers , and bring equity to underserved communities . I am a believer in Social Justice and we are closing the gap through our work.
